Matthew Perry Writing Autobiography About His Time On ‘Friends’

Actor Matthew Perry has signed a seven-figure deal to write an autobiography on his life and career.
According to Deadline, the 54-year-old actor, best known for his role as Chandler Bing on Friends, has reportedly signed a deal with book publisher Flatiron Books to write an autobiography.
In the book, Perry will “take readers behind-the-scenes and onto the soundstage of the sitcom [Friends] while opening up about his private struggles with addiction.”
Megan Lunch, a publisher of Flatiron Books, said in a statement: “We need humor, we need catharsis, and we need to agree on something–and Matthew’s extraordinary story, told in his inimitable voice, is that thing.
Perry’s autobiography is set to be published some time in 2022.
