Mel B Sued By Hair Stylist Alleging Illegal Drug Prescriptions

Mel B is being sued by her former hairstylist that claims she used his name on prescriptions.
According to legal documentation, seen by unCrazed, Gary Madatyan sued the Spice Girls star claiming she used his name on prescriptions in order for her to obtain drugs.
The lawsuit, filed by Ben Meiselas, a celebrity attorney, claims that Mel B encouraged Gary to be part of her entire life, which allegedly included moving into the same apartment complex — making it easier for him to manage her and deal with her day-to-day work.
He alleges that she paid a salary of $10,000 per month, with $7,000 going towards monthly rent and other miscellaneous living requirements. Gary allegedly soon became Mel’s hairstylist, manager, assistant and butler.
According to Gary, he claims that Mel and a famous doctor, Charles Sophy, became close and started working as Mel’s “personal doctor,” — even working on the case involving her custody battle over her children with ex-husband Stephan Belfonte.
Gary claims the doctor “prescribed amphetamine salts using (his) name which he did not authorise or consent to.” to which he’s included text messages demonstrating him questioning Dr. Charles Sophy about his name use on a prescription that he alleges he never requested.
Gary has sued for wrongful termination after he allegedly challenged Mel about the prescriptions to which he was later fired. He’s also suing for infliction of emotional distress caused by the alleged actions of Mel and Dr. Charles Sophy.
