Mel Gibson Publicist Ends Fox News Interview After Will Smith Oscars Slap Question

Mel Gibson exited an interview after Jesse Watters asked him about Will Smith.
The 66-year-old was broadcasting live with the Fox News host to promote his new film, Father Stu, when Watters dived into the question of the infamous Smith slap at the Oscars that saw Chris Rock a victim of assault as he guest hosted the award ceremony.
Jesse started to say, “I was wondering if you had been the one that jumped up out of his seat and slapped Chris Rock, if you would’ve been treated the same way, Mel … Have you ever thought about that?” to which a visibly laughing Gibson can be seen waving to Watters to indicate the interview was over. A handler for Mel jumped over the air on a call to say, “Um, thank you, Jesse. That is our time”
The interview then ended with Watters saying, “Well, Mel, thank you very much for joining Jesse Watters Primetime. We really appreciate it,”
