Michael Che Responds To Kanye West’s Offer To Double His ‘SNL’ Salary
Saturday Night Live’s Michael Che has shared his response after Kanye West offered to double his salary if he stopped working with Pete Davidson.
In a now-deleted Instagram post, West reached out to Che offering to double his salary so that he would never have to see Davidson’s face again.
“I’LL DOUBLE WHATEVER THEY PAYING YOU JUST SO YOU DONT HAVE TO LOOK AT THAT PAWN EVER AGAIN BIG LOVE,” he wrote in all caps.
Che then responded to West with his own Instagram post jokingly saying he would only stop working with Davidson if the rapper tripled his salary.
“Sorry Ye, but I would never betray my friends. For anything less than TRIPLE salary,” he said.
“That’s right, $90k per year! Full medical. Full dental. Four weeks vacay. Corner office. Plus, a pair of Red Octobers. Size 12. And you gotta make some beats for my band, The Slap Butts,” he added.
