Minor Claims R. Kelly Gave Her Herpes “On Purpose”

The latest witness in the ongoing trial against R. Kelly claims he gave her herpes on purpose.
The trial is currently in its fourth day of proceedings.
The singer, real name Robert Kelly, 54, is currently on trial in New York on charges of racketeering, sex abuse and bribery.
According to Vulture.com, the witness, known as Jane Doe #5, was underage when the alleged assault happened.
The incident happened in 2015, in Orlando, Florida. The witness, then 17, was invited back to Kelly’s hotel where the then-48-year-old paid “a lot of attention to her”.
Doe admitted she told Kelly she was 18 when they met.
The witness explained she met Kelly with the hope of auditioning for him, but he said he had to be “sexually pleasured” before that could happen.
“I told him I did not come to please him, I came for an audition,” Doe testified. “I just wanted to sing,” she added. “I genuinely wanted his input.”
During the alleged intercourse, the witness said she began to feel pain that was so bad she “couldn’t work.” She was later diagnosed with herpes. “This man purposely gave me something he knew he had,” Doe said, “he could have controlled the situation.”
Kelly is accused of abusing six women and girls, he has plead guilty to all charges. The alleged victims include the late Aaliyah.
Kelly is said to have married the singer when she was just 15, in Mexico, where it is legal.
If convicted, Kelly will face life imprisonment.
