Cleveland Indians player Josh Naylor was taken to hospital following a collision with his teammate during their game against Minnesota Twins.
The injury came as both Naylor and Ernie Clement chased after a pop fly, but the two collided leaving the player in pain and having to receive medical treatment.
Confirming the news of the extent of the injury was the Cleveland Indians.
“Naylor has a ‘closed’ fracture and dislocation. He’ll be out indefinitely.” ESPN reports.
Speaking about the injury was teammate Clement who expressed his feelings about the incident, “The words of encouragement from Josh, that meant the world to me because I was involved in that accident and it was really hard,” said Ernie.
