The mother of deceased comedian Fuquan Johnson says fentanyl strips could have saved his life.

Johnson passed away with two others last month following a tragic drug overdose. The three had been attending a house party where it is believed most of the guests consumed cocaine laced with fentanyl.

Fellow comedian Kate Quigley was also at the party and was rushed to hospital in serious condition. She has since been released.

Now in a report by TMZ, Johnson’s mother, Paulene, is urging drug users to be as safe as they can. Emphasising that she does not advocate illegal drug use, she acknowledges that people do partake and believes fentanyl strips could lower the risk to their lives.
