‘Ms. Marvel’ Disney+ Release Date Pushed Back

The new Marvel Cinematic Universe show, Ms. Marvel, has seen its release date pushed back into 2022. 

Starring Iman Vellani, the show follows Marvel’s first-ever Muslim superhero in 16-year-old Pakistani-American, Kamala Khan.

Vellani has previously stated how ‘inspiring’ it will be for others to see her on the show.

“I don’t really have to go out of my way and talk about being a Muslim and being Pakistani – it all comes out in the show.”

“People seeing a person like me involved in a project as big as this is, I think, inspiring enough,” she told Variety.

The show had been tipped for a 2021 release, but Marvel has since revealed that it will feature in Q4.

Fans can therefore expect to see it at some point between October and December of 2022.

Despite leading on her own show, Vellani is also set to feature as Khan across the MCU including in the sequel to Captain Marvel, titled The Marvelsexpected February 2023.
