NeNe Leakes Is Suing Networks Over Racism On ‘RHOA’

NeNe Leaks has filed a lawsuit against the companies behind The Real Housewives of Atlanta over a racist work environment.
Leaks has alleged that they ‘fostered and tolerated a hostile and racist work environment’.
“NBC, Bravo and True foster a corporate and workplace culture in which racially-insensitive and inappropriate behaviour is tolerated – if not, encouraged,” the suit reads.
It specifically calls on behaviour from co-star Kim Zolciak-Biermann, claiming she ‘used the N-word to refer to Leaks’ during an argument.
She also allegedly responded to a season one barbecue using “words to the effect of: ‘I don’t want to sit around with NeNe and eat chicken,’” the suit said. It goes on to state that it “perpetuated an offensive stereotype about African-Americans.”
Leaks was reportedly forced off the show that after her speaking up on the racism.
