Netflix Planning To Film Two ‘Red Notice’ Sequels

Streaming giant Netflix has reportedly given the green light for Red Notice to film two more movies back-to-back.

According to Deadline, Netflix is in early stages of putting together a back-to-back shoot of two Red Notice sequels, with the hope to begin production in early 2023.

The outlet also reports that film director Rawson Marshall Thurber, has already begun writing the script, and that Dwayne Johnson, Gal Gadot and Ryan Reynolds will all be returning.

“The plan is to bring back the star trio and add new characters to flesh out a heist-film ensemble reminiscent of the starry Ocean’s Eleven franchise,” Deadline reported.

Red Notice, which was released in November became Netflix’s most popular film after amassing over 300 million hours viewed on the streaming platform.

The film was also the most expensive movie Netflix has ever done, costing the studio over $200 million.
