‘Netflix’ CEO Reed Hastings & Patty Quillin Donate $30 Million To Vaccine Organisation Amid Coronavirus Pandemic

Reed Hastings and his wife, Patty Quillin, are splashing the cash for a very good cause.

The Netflix CEO and Quillin have donated $30 million to the Gavi Alliance, which is a nonprofit immunisation organisation.

Gavi Alliance was originally started by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, and the company is said to be raising at least $7.4 billion to immunize 300 million children over the next 5 years. Reed said in a statement, “Global immunisation is vital to ending this terrible pandemic, and Gavi’s hard-fought gains in this area will help prevent more lost lives and livelihoods.
