New Gossip Girl Reboot Trailer Is Out Now

The first official trailer for the new Gossip Girl reboot gives viewers a glimpse into the lives of the clique that rule the Upper East Side. 

The trailer, soundtracked by Frank Ocean‘s “Super Rich Kids“,  shows a new girl moving to the big city and the popular group taking her in.

Kristen Bell, the iconic voice of Gossip Girl, returns as the voiceover for this show.

Her familiar voice warns: “There’s a big secret amongst the ruling class at Constance Billard.”

The all-new diverse cast revives the show into modern life as Gossip Girl‘s presence, this time, takes form as an Instagram account.

Jordan Alexander plays Julien Calloway and appears to be the group’s Blair-esque queen bee alongside Whitney Peak staring as new girl on the scene Zoya Lott.

Other new faces include Thomas Doherty, Evan Mock, Zión Moreno, Savannah Lee Smith, and Tavi Gevinson.

The initial news of a reboot was not well-received by some die-hard fans of Blake Lively, Ed Westwick, Chace Crawford, and Leighton Meester‘s OG world.

But intrigue is certain to have been captured after the new clips of glitzy parties, fashion shows, and affairs fill the trailer.

The show will air 8 July on HBO Max.
