Nicki Minaj’s Anti-Vax Twitter Rant Causes Massive Stir

Nicki Minaj has said that she will not be getting the COVID-19 vaccine until she has “done enough research”.

The rapper posted a series of tweets overnight on September 13, discussing the COVID-19 vaccine after fans noticed that her last public appearance was over a year ago.

“I have an infant with no nannies during COVID. who mad? Not risking his health to be seen. One yaself,” Minaj replied to a user.

In another tweet, Minaj appeared to imply she had contracted COVID-19 whilst preparing a video for this year’s MTV Video Music Awards.

“I was prepping for vmas then i shot a video & guess who got COVID?,” she wrote.

“Do u know what it is [like to] not to be able to kiss or hold your tiny baby for over a week? A baby who is only used to his mama?” she added.

Minaj, also tweeted about the Met Gala’s requirement for all attendees to be vaccinated against COVID-19 as reported by the New York Times.

“They want you to get vaccinated for the Met. if I get vaccinated it won’t for the Met,” the rapper said.

She added that she hopes to one day get the vaccine herself but only after she has “done enough research”.
