Olivia Rodrigo has been accused by Courtney Love for plagiarising and ‘stealing’ after the release of Sour Prom concert film artwork.

The former Hole singer highlights similarities between the cover art of the band’s 1994 album, Live Through This, and Rodrigo‘s new photos for her upcoming Sour Prom concert film.

Both artworks show what appears to be a prom queen wearing a tiara, holding flowers, and with mascara running down her face.

Love has uploaded the 18-year-olds promo-picture to Instagram with the caption: “Spot the Difference! #twinning.”

On Facebook, Love wrote multiple comments and shared more thoughts on the artwork including that Rodrigo and her management are “rude”.

“Stealing an original idea and not asking permission is rude”, one comment reads.

“I’ve informed her I await her flowers and note. I sure hope it’s long. Does Disney teach kids reading and writing? God knows. Let’s see . Yes this is rude.”
