‘You’ Star Penn Badgley Admits Taking ‘Plenty’ Of Hallucinogenic Drugs In His 20s

Penn Badgley has admitted to taking hallucinogenic drugs when he was in his early 20s.

The You star was interviewed by Variety with former Gossip Girl co-star Chace Crawford where the conversation turned to LSD trips.

You’ll remember, in season 2 of Netflix‘s hit series You, Badgley’s character, Will Bettelheim unintentionally takes hallucinogenic drugs after Forty Quinn tries to take control of a situation and preventing Bettelheim from leaving him as they write a screenplay together.

Crawford asked, “On the LSD trip, did you do some research? Your performance was amazing.” forcing Penn to admit, “In my early 20s, I did plenty of research,”
