Pete Davidson To Travel Into Space During Next Blue Origin Flight

Pete Davidson is among the next set of passengers due to embark on Blue Origin’s fourth human flight into space.
Announcing 20th mission for the New Shepard program, Blue Origin stated that Davidson and five others would launch into space on March 23.
The SNL comedian will be joined by Marty Allen, Sharon and Marc Hagle, Jim Kitchen and Dr. George Nield.
Each passenger will reportedly carry a set of postcards written by children as part of the Postcard’s to Space program. Run by Blue Origin’s Club for the Future foundation, the hope is to inspire young people to pursue STEM careers which benefit the Earth.
Davidson’s journey will make him the latest celebrity to travel into space, following the likes of Michael Strahan and Star Trek’s William Shatner – who became the oldest person to reach space in October.
Liftoff will take place at 8:30am CDT on March 23 from Launch Site One in West Texas.
