Phil Collins Shares An Update On His Health

Phil Collins has given a rare interview in which he updated fans on his health situation and the effect it is having on his ability to perform
The musician has been suffering from nerve damage ever since a spinal injury in 2007, in which he damaged a part of his vertebrae in his upper neck.
Since the injury, Collins has undergone a number of different surgeries on his spine in hopes that he can possible return to playing the drums again. one day.
However in a interview on BBC Breakfast, Collins admitted that he will likely never be able to play the drums again and that he can barely hold a stick.
“I’d love to but I mean, I can barely hold a stick with this hand,” he said.
Collins added that his son Nic, would be drumming on the upcoming Genesis Band Reunion Tour in which Collins will reunite with fellow members Mike Rutherford and Tony Bank.
“I’m physically challenged a bit, which is very frustrating because I’d love to be playing up there with my son,” he said.
