Phoenix Suns Win Game Two As They Step Closer To NBA Final

In game two of the Western Conference finals against LA Clippers, Phoenix Suns won in the last seconds of the game taking a 2-0 series lead. 

The game finished 104-103 to the Suns, with Deandre Ayton getting the winning points as he dunked in the last second. He finished the game with 24 points, 14 rebounds and 1 assist, block and steal. NBA report.

Ayton however didn’t want to take the credit, as he credited Jae Crowder’s game winning pass as being the highlight. “I’ll start off by saying that’s definitely Jae [Crowder’s] game winner, making a great pass for a 7-footer,” ESPN report.

Whilst filling in for Chris Paul, Cameron Payne put recorded a career hight of 29 points. Devin Booker contributed to the scoring with 20 points, he also picked up an injury in the third quarter. Booker continued to play the game with a “swollen face and crooked nose” after contact from Clippers, Patrick Beverly.

Game three is scheduled to be played on Thursday June 24th, 9 pm ET.
