Pope Francis Inadvertently Blesses New Orleans Saints

Pope Francis has inadvertently blessed New Orleans Saints over the weekend.
The Catholic Church became a trending topic on social media on Sunday after the Bishop of Rome hashtagged #Saints on Twitter.
He wrote, “Today we give thanks to the Lord for our new #Saints. They walked by faith and now we invoke their intercession.”

Due to tagging #Saints on Twitter, their algorithm stapled the New Orleans Saints logo — something Pope Francis nor The Catholic Church realised.
Turns out, the 82-year-old was actually referring to the five new saints that had just been indoctrinated into the church.
Linebacker Alex Anzalone responded to the Pope’s backing, saying, “Wow, are we blessed or what?!??” before New Orleans Saints official Twitter account wrote, “Couldn’t lose after this. #Blessed and high favoured.”
