Priyanka Chopra Jonas has taken to her Instagram and responded to the backlash she received for the upcoming show, The Activist.
The 39-year-old actress has apologised to fans after many have been complaining about her participation in the show.
The Activist has received a lot of backlash for the plot and how competitiveness would be a negative thing for what it means to be an activist.
Priyanka has announced the show will change format, adding :
“I’m happy to know that in this new format their stories, will be the highlight”
The Activist will now be a documentary special instead of a competition series starting on September 15.
