R&B singer, R. Kelly, real name Robert Kelly, has been charged with 10 separate counts of aggravated criminal sexual abuse.

A grand jury was convened last week after attorney Michael Avenatti delivered an alleged sex tape to Cook Country State’s Attorney’s Office.

The tape supposedly shows Robert engaging in sexual acts with an underage girl — which he is still under investigation in Fulton County over similar allegations.

Michael addressed the charges in a press conference saying, “After 25 years of serial sexual abuse and assault of underage girls, the day of reckoning for R. Kelly has arrived.”

Over the last year, Robert has been publicly accused of multiple sexual abuse allegations but has category denied them all.

In 2002, a video surfaced allegedly showing Robert engaging in sex with, and urinating on, an underage girl. After law enforcement searched his residence in Florida, they recovered 12 images of an allegedly underage girl on a digital camera. By June 2008, a Chicago jury found him not guilty of 14 out of 14 counts of child pornography.
