R. Kelly Released From Jail After Paying Child Support

R. Kelly, real name Robert Kelly, was arrested on Wednesday after he missed the deadline to settle his child support. 

He owed $161,633 to his ex-wife, Drea Kelly, after failing to pay child support.

As he left Cook County Jail, Robert said, “I promise we’re gonna straighten all this out. That’s all I can say right now. I love my fans.”

Robert was referencing his recent arrest in relation to allegations made against him following the Surviving R. Kelly documentary that staples him as a sexual predator — which he is now defending saying none of the accusations are true and with the media and allegations being made, it’s “f****** killing” him.

He claims he’s trying to reconnect with his three children — but according to our sources, he hasn’t reached out to his family in almost 2 years.

Robert is now facing 10 counts of aggravated sexual abuse in Chicago, multiple federal investigations and a new sexual misconduct allegation in Detroit.
