R. Kelly In Meeting With Tom Mesereau Who Won Michael Jackson’s Molestation Case

R. Kelly could be changing his legal team after a meeting with one of the most successful criminal defence lawyers in the United States. 

According to TMZ.com, R. Kelly is meeting with Tom Mesereau, the lawyer that has worked with Robert Blake to later be acquitted of murdering his wife in 2005.

In 2005, Tom also worked with Michael Jackson who was later acquitted of child molestation — R. Kelly has been charged with various sex crimes in four different jurisdictions, Minnesota States, Illinois Federal, Illinois State and New York Federal.

Tom hasn’t officially signed on to be R. Kelly’s defence lawyer, yet, but the plan for that to happen is in motion at the time of publishing this article.

Mr Kelly remains in jail awaiting trial for several dozen sex abuse charges, and Tom could be the lead attorney representing the disgraced R&B singer.
