Rapper Dizzee Rascal Charged With Assault

British rapper Dizzee Rascal has been charged with assault following a domestic disturbance which left a woman injured.

Dizzie Rascal – whose real name is Dylan Mills – is due to appear in court on September 3. He is currently free on bail.

In a statement shared by The Guardian, the police said: “Dylan Mills, 36, of Sevenoaks, Kent, has been charged with assault after an incident at a residential address in Streatham on 8 June.

“Officers attended and a woman reported minor injuries. She did not require hospital treatment.”

The 36-year-old is famous for tracks like ‘Bonkers‘, ‘I Luv U‘ and ‘Dance Wiv Me‘. In 2020, he was awarded an MBE for his contribution to music.
