Rapper Trippie Redd Avoids Prosecution For Assault Charges

Rapper Trippie Redd has avoided prosecution over charges of assault which had been pressed in 2018.
According to court filings obtained by TMZ, the Fulton County D.A.’s Office decided to drop the charges. They did not specify their reasons behind the decision.
Trippie, whose real name is Michael Lamar White, was arrested in 2018 following allegations that he had pistol-whipped a woman.
Drew Findling, Trippie’s lawyer, is allegedly “thrilled” by the decision and told TMZ that his firm worked tirelessly for 3 years to prove Trippie’s innocence.
The 22-year-old rapper is currently awaiting the release of his fourth album, Trip at Knight, in August 2021.
