Rihanna Drops Lawsuit Against Her Father

Rihanna has dropped a lawsuit against her father Ronald Fenty in which she accused him of using her name to promote his business.
The pop star opened the lawsuit against her father in January 2019 and was set to appear in court over the matter later this month.
However, according to Radar Online, the singer has dropped the suit in favour of an out-of-court settlement as she wants to avoid a public dispute.
Rihanna, claimed in the lawsuit that her father Ronald had booked various shows without her permission, including a $15 million overseas tour.
She also claimed that because of the false bookings her reputation had been damaged when it came to talking to promoters and venues.
Ronald also allegedly tried to trademark the phrase Fenty, which led to Rihanna requesting from the court an injunction against her father.
