Author of My Beautiful Black Hair, St Clair Detrick-Jules, said that: “For the producers of Rihanna’s fashion show to fashion white models with distinctively Black braids kind of feels exhausting,” according to The Guardian.
People have took to social media to express their feelings towards this.
I wish I could write something as funny as Rihanna putting all these white girls in braids for the fenty show

I’m a white woman originally from Russia. My great grandma and my grandma always had their hair in two braids like that of the Mexican culture, women have braided their hair for centuries before hair care was a thing. Let women do their hair however. https://t.co/ULqZvO0tMu
