Rosario Dawson Talks Miniseries Dopesick on GMA

Rosario Dawson appeared on Good Morning America to discuss miniseries Dopesick. 

The actress arrived at the studio waving at fans before her appearance on the morning show.

In her interview, Dawson sheds light on the new eight-episode series, Dopesick.

The series focuses on the epicentre of America’s struggle with Opioid addiction.

Rosario plays a DEA agent who is determined to hold someone accountable for the opioid crisis.

Dawson previously told The Hollywood Reporter that she knows people that had been affected by the opioid epidemic.

She adds that she hopes the show will help to create empathy towards those that struggle with addictions.

“Hopefully this will be really helpful in building people’s empathy and also their urgency.”
