Salma Hayek Details ‘Upsetting’ Love Scene In ‘Desperado’ With Antonio Banderas

Salma Hayek has opened up about an ‘upsetting’ love making scene with Antonio Banderas in Desperado.

The 54-year-old From Dusk Till Dawn actress made an appearance on Dax Shepard and Monica Padman‘s Armchair Expert podcast where she revealed an upsetting moment from the 1995 film Desperado with Banderas.

According to Hayek, producers failed to notify her of an intimate sex scene between her character and Antonio‘s character, with the actress saying, “So, when we were going to start shooting, I started to sod. I don’t know that I can do it. I’m afraid.

Clearing up any speculation before it happens, Salma goes on to clarify that both Robert Rodriguez, director, and Banderas, “were amazing” and that Rodriguez “never put pressure on me.” — she explained that it was still traumatic for her, “I was not letting go of the towel. They would try to make me laugh. I would take it off for two seconds and start crying again. But we got through it.
