Sam Claflin & Laura Haddock Divorcing After Six Years
Sam Claflin and his wife Laura Haddock are calling it quits after six years of marriage.
The Peaky Blinders star announced in a statement that he and Laura have “decided to legally separate,” — the pair tied the knot back in 2013.
In a statement on Monday morning via Instagram, Sam wrote, “Laura and I have decided to legally separate. We will move forward with nothing but love, friendship and a deep respect for one another whilst we continue to raise our family together.
We won’t be commenting on this further. Thank you in advance for your support and respecting our privacy at this time.”
Laura gave birth to their first child together in 2015, Pip, and just last year their daughter was born.
In 2011 the two first started dating and married each other two years later. Sam said he met Laura in the audition room, “I walked into an audition room, I saw her and I knew. I’m not kidding for the life of me. She was reading in for a part and it’s my fourth free call,”
The Inbetweeners actress wrote in June, “Happy birthday to this kind, generous, loving, beautiful man,” accompanied with a photograph of Sam.
