Samantha Morton Joins Cast Of Harvey Weinstein Feature ‘She Said’

Samantha Morton is the latest star to join the cast of She Said alongside Carey Mulligan and Zoe Kazan.

Maria Schrader will direct the new feature, penned by Rebecca Lenkiewicz.

The story follows the unravelling of the scandalous sexual abuse inflicted by film producer, Harvey Weinstein.

Mulligan and Kazan will portray Megan Twohey and Jodi Kantor – the journalists who first wrote about the scandal and sparked the beginnings of the #MeToo movement.

The Hollywood Reporter was first to share the news of Morton’s casting. The Walking Dead star will play Weinstein’s former assistant, Zelda Perkins, who was abused by her employer and unable to speak out due to NDA’s.

She Said is currently filming in New York.
