Scarlett Johansson Working On Disney’s New Film ‘Tower Of Terror’

Scarlett Johansson is reportedly on board to produce Disney’s next film, ‘Tower of Terror‘.
According to Collider a director is yet to be announced, though Josh Cooley will write the script. Cooley is previously credited for his work on Toy Story 4 and Inside Out.
Johansson recently starred in Disney’s upcoming Black Widow – set for release in July. Though already on board as a producer, Johansson may allegedly star in the new feature.
While plot details are unknown, Tower of Terror will be based upon the popular ride by the same name in Disney World, Florida. The ride was inspired by the iconic 1959 series, Twilight Zone, voiced by Rod Serling.
“Step uneasily inside the infamous Hollywood Tower Hotel and find a dusty lobby frozen in time. Even the subdued hotel staff seems strangely out of another era.” Describes the Disney World website. “Suddenly a television set springs to life and Rod Serling welcomes you on a journey into the Twilight Zone.
“He reveals that on a gloomy Halloween night in 1939, some hotel patrons were riding the elevator when a violent storm struck the building… and they were never seen again. The hotel closed down and has stood empty ever since. ”
