Selena Gomez Opens Up About Her ‘Cursed’ Past Relationships
In an interview with Vogue Australia, the 28-year-old reveals that she feels that her past relationships have been “cursed”.
After a a hiatus from the music and entertainment scene, Selena Gomez is returning with new music, a TV show, and a new beauty line.
She graces the cover of Vogue Australia and talks the meaning behind her new album Rare.
The star also has the word ‘rare’ tattooed on her neck, as well as being the title of her beauty line ‘Rare Beauty‘.
When asked of this word significance, she reveals some feelings about past relationships.
“I think most of my experiences in relationships have been cursed,” she begins.
“I’ve been way too young to be exposed to certain things when I was in relationships. I guess I needed to find what was that word for me, because I felt so less than in past relationships, and never really felt equal.”

Selena is an advocate for mental health and has spoken about her personal struggles. She has also been diagnosed with Lupus, an autoimmune disease for which she had a lifesaving kidney transplant, and often raises awareness for the disease.
