Snoop Dogg Hit With Copyright Lawsuit Over Viral Video

Snoop Dogg has been hit with a copyright lawsuit after he allegedly uploaded a viral video, which he did not own to his Instagram.
According to Billboard, the 50-year-old rapper is facing a new lawsuit from a media outlet called FreedomNews.TV after uploading one of their viral videos without permission.
The video, which was uploaded to Snoop’s Instagram in April, contains footage of a protester that fell to the ground whilst attempting to climb the façade of JPMorgan Chase’s headquarters.
In their claim, FreedomNews.TV state that Snoop’s uploaded video is an exact copy of their original video. They also accuse the rapper of failing to provide accurate credit in either the video itself or the caption.
Neither Snoop nor one of his representatives has made a comment yet on the lawsuit.
