Sonyhas acquired the new comedy film No Hard Feelings, starring Jennifer Lawrence.
According to Deadline, the new feature will be directed by Gene Stupnitsky. He will also co-write the film, alongside John Phillips. Alex Saks, Marc Provissiero, Naomi Odenkirk, Justine Polsky and Lawrence Phillips are attached to produce.
No Hard Feelings reportedly takes inspiration from 1983’s Risky Business and 2011’s Bad Teacher. The film will be R-rated and is set in a hamlet on the east end of Long Island.
Jennifer Lawrence is currently concluding her work on Adam McKay‘s upcoming film Don’t Look Up and the drama feature Red, White and Water.
She is best known for her starring role as Katniss Everdeen in the Hunger Games franchise.
