Star-Studded Cast Of Super Mario Film Announced

A voice cast including Chris Pratt, Anya Taylor-Joy and Seth Rogen has joined the animated adaptation of Super Mario Brothers.
According to Deadline, the film is being produced in partnership with Illumination studios and Nintendo. News of the casting was shared on Illumination’s Twitter feed, alongside the caption: “Here we go!”

Announced alongside the three stars were Charlie Day, Jack Black, Keegan-Michael Key, Fred Armisen, Kevin Michael Richardson, Sebastian Maniscalco, and Charles Martinet.
Set to portray the iconic plumbing duo is Chris Pratt as Mario and Charlie Day as Luigi. Anya Taylor-Joy will provide the voice of Princess Peach, with Jack Black playing the leading baddie, Bowser and Keegan-Michael Key as Toad.
Seth Rogen is pegged to portray Donkey Kong, joined by Fred Armisen as Cranky Kong. Kevin Michael Richardson will voice Kamek and Sebastian Maniscalco will voice Spike.
Super Mario Bros hopes to release on December 21, 2022.
