Suicide Squad’ Cast Members Say They Want To See Directors Cut

Following the release of Zack Snyder’s directors cut of DC’s Justice League, Suicide Squad actor Joel Kinnaman wants to see David Ayer’s cut of the 2016 movie.

Director of Suicide Squad Ayer posted a letter last week on Twitter which said  the “studio cut is not my movie” leading fans wanting the studio to release the directors vision of the movie.

Following the tweet and fans asking for the movie both Margot Robbie and Kinnaman have expressed their feelings with both wanting to see the movie. “I would want to see the cut of every movie I’ve been part of that I’ve never seen,” Robbie tells Variety.

Kinnaman also added “Yeah why not? You always want to see the directors vision.”

It’s not just the cast members from the first movie sharing his thoughts on if the directors cut should be released, with John Cena who stars as Peacemaker in James Gunn’s The Suicide Squad saying, “if it’s something that’s so in demand and they got it, why not?”
