Tarzan Star Joe Lara Dies In Tragic Plane Crash

Joe Lara, the US actor best known for playing Tarzan, has died at the age of 58 in a tragic plane crash.
Lara and his wife, Gwen Shamblin Lara, were passengers onboard a plane with five others which crashed in Smyrna, Tennessee on Saturday. All seven passengers on board have sadly died.
Lara played the role of Tarzan in the 1989 film ‘Tarzan in Manhattan‘ and reprised the role for television series ‘Tarzan: The Epic Adventures‘.
Joe Lara’s wife, Gwen, founded the Remnant Fellowship Church in 1999 and was a renowned dietician.
“The seven Remnant Fellowship leaders lost May 29, 2021 were some of the finest and most loving people that you would ever come across. During this horrible tragedy, our church would greatly appreciate prayers.” The Remnant Fellowship Church said in a statement. “We would like to thank the First Responders and all who have helped our church and these families during this difficult time.”
