Taylor Swift Holds Number One Position In ‘Billboard’ Chart With ‘Evermore’ Album

Taylor Swift is number one on the Billboard 200 album chart.
The 31-year-old Right Where You Left Me singer released her ninth studio album, Evermore, and it’s at the top of the album chart after earning 56,000 equivalent album units — for the week ending January 7 2021 in the United States.
Swift holds number one with Evermore for a third week running, with the album spending the first to weeks on top of the chart until Playboi Carti released the Whole Lotta Red album which took the top spot.
Currently spending 51 weeks at number one on the Billboard 200 chart, she is close to over taking Garth Brooks who was at number one for 52 weeks, following by Elvis Presley at 67 weeks and The Beatles at 132 weeks.
Taylor has now spent 51 weeks at number one on the Billboard 200 chart, which puts her in a tie for fourth place for the most weeks on top of the chart.
