Taylor Swift’s Surprise Release Reaches The Charts

Taylor Swift surprised the fans with the re-recording of Wildest Dreams and now the song has entered the Billboard Hot 100 chart.

The 31-year-old singer announced the release of the 2014 single on September 17 after becoming a trend on TikTok.

As a result this release was unexpected as Taylor announced the release of Red (Taylor’s Version) back in August.

The song Wildest Dreams (Taylor’ Version) has now entered the top 40, debuting at number 37 on the Hot 100 chart and number 3 on the Digital Song Sales chart.

This entry becomes Taylor’s 138th on the Hot 100 chart and is her 81st top 40 hit.

Swift has tied the record for third most top 40 singles with Elvis Presley, behind Drake and Lil Wayne.

The next album from Taylor is Red (Taylor’s Version) which is set to come out on November 19.
