Team USA Men’s Basketball Advance To Olympics Final
Team USA beat Australia to reach another basketball final as the team look to win their fourth gold medal consecutively at the Olympics.
However, it wasn’t an easy game for the current gold medal holders who at one point in the game were down by 6 at the end of the first quarter and 3 points at the end of the second.
A big third quarter lead by Jrue Holiday and Kevin Durant took USA past Australia going on a 12-0 run at the start of the third quarter with 4 points from Holiday and 8 from Kevin.
This run of form carried over from end of the second quarter in which USA went 8-0.

Brooklyn Net’s player Durant spoke about the teams ability to come back into the game.
“There were a lot of guys on this team that had straight faces and were ready to play when we were down 15 [points].”
At the end of the game, Durant finished with 23 points, with Phoenix Suns’ Devin Booker finishing on 20.
