The ‘Matrix: Resurrections’ Trailer Has Been Released

Long-awaited‘Matrix: Resurrections‘. trailer has finally been released.
The trailer for the fourth Matrix instalment was first previewed at CinemaCon on Tuesday, August 24th, in Las Vegas before being released to the public today.
The trailer, appropriately set to White Rabbit by Jefferson Airplane, is full of classic Matrix references.
Explosions, black sunglasses and leather are aplenty.
The scene that has fans buzzing the most is the possible depiction of young Morpheus.
He is played by franchise newcomer Yahya Abdul-Mateen II.
Abdul-Mateen tells Neo, played by Keanu Reeves, “it’s time to fly” while handing him a red pill.
We also see Neo as his pre-awoken persona Thomas Anderson, speaking to a therapist played Neil Patrick-Harris.
On Tuesday (7th September) fans were given a completely unique teaser for the film.
You’re given the opportunity to choose your reality.
Depending on whether you pick the blue or the red pill, you’ll see different teasers of the film.
The Matrix Resurrections opens in theatres, and on HBO Max, December 22nd.
