The Weeknd Confirms His Next Album Is “Complete”

The Weeknd has provided fans another update on the progress of his fifth studio album, stating that it’s all but complete.
The Canadian singer previously said to fans in August that his album would be ready by the end of the month.
However, some ten weeks later their is still no sign of its release.
Now, in a new episode of his Apple Music 1 radio show Memento Mori, The Weeknd has given another update on the progress of his fifth album.
“[The] album is complete. Only thing missing is a couple [of] characters that are key to the narrative,” he said.
“Some people that are near and dear to me, some people that inspired my life as a child, and some that inspire me now. More to come in the following month,” he added.
Last month, a teaser released by The Weeknd hinted at a possible upcoming collaboration with music group Swedish House Mafia.
Its not yet known if the collaboration is a new track on The Weeknd’ upcoming album.
