The Weeknd Delays His World Tour

The Weeknd, whose real name is Abel, has pushed back his forthcoming world tour After Hours Til Dawn for a third time until summer 2022.
The announcement of the delay came overnight through the singer’s social media.
“The tour dates are moving and will commence in the summer of 2022,” Abel wrote on Twitter.
The tour, which was originally set to begin in 2019, has been delayed three times now after initially being pushed back due to coronavirus restrictions.
Posting to his Instagram, Abel explained to fans the main reason behind the tour’s latest delay.
“Due to constraints of arenas and the demand for more shows I want to do something bigger and special for you which requires stadiums,” the singer said.
The Weeknd added that anyone who had already purchased tickets for the tour, will automatically be given a refund and priority access to buy new tickets when they go on sale again.
