‘Tiger King’ Star Jeff Lowe And Wife Lauren Reach Plea Deal
Tiger King’s Jeff Lowe and his wife Lauren Lowe have reached a plea deal in relation to their DUI arrest back in June.
According to TMZ, the couple reached an agreement with prosecutors in Oklahoma and have pled no contest to a misdemeanour charge of driving while intoxicated.
In exchange, neither of the Lowe’s is expected to serve any jail time and will instead pay a fine and any additional court fees.
The couple’s attorney Joshua C. Smith states that the Lowe’s acknowledge that they made a mistake and are happy with the deal they agreed to.
Both Jeff and Lauren were arrested for DUI after they were spotted driving a white Range Rover whilst visibly drunk. Though Lauren was initially who officers observed behind the wheel, she later switched places with her husband in front of police and they were both subsequently arrested.
News of the plea deal comes as the Lowe’s prepare to relocate their zoo to Mexico. The decision follows a court ruling which bans the couple from exhibiting exotic animals in the US.
