Tyler The Creator Receives BET Award

Tyler The Creator has received the BET award for Hip-Hop album of the year for his 2021 album, Call Me If You Get Lost. 

The 30-year-old rapper at the BET Hip-Hop awards also received the Rock the Bells Cultural Influence award.

In the acceptance speech, Tyler said:

“I definitely think that I’ve created my own path, but it’s people who allowed me to understand that I can do that, who laid the blueprint.”

In the speech, he thanked artists who inspired him such as André 3000, Pharrell, Kanye West, Missy Elliott and Busta Rhyme.

Tyler The Creator is set to tour his album Call Me If You Get Lost next year with Kali Uchis, Vince Staples and Teezo.
