Vince Vaughn To Star In New Apple Series ‘Bad Monkey’

Vince Vaughn is to star in Apple’s new series, Bad Monkey. The series, created by Bill Lawrence, is based on a novel by Carl Hiaasen.
It follows the character of Andrew Yancy (Vaughn), a detective turned restaurant inspector in Florida. The discovery of a severed arm pulls Yancy into the world of greed and corruption that decimates the land and environment in Florida and the Bahamas.
According to Empire, the series is pegged for 10 episodes and will begin filming this year.
Writer Lawrence is best known for creating the hit shows Scrubs and Ted Lasso, starring Jason Sudeikis.
Vince Vaughn’s last television role was in Larry David’s Curb Your Enthusiasm in 2020.
He has enjoyed starring roles in many major films including The Break-Up, Anchorman: The Legend of Rob Burgundy and The Internship.
The 51-year-old will next appear on screen in Queenpins, coming to cinemas on September 10.
