Wendy Williams Struggling With ‘Serious Health Complications’

Wendy Williams will be taking a step back from hosting her show The Wendy Williams Show, due to ongoing health issues. 

In a statement released on Tuesday, the show announced that Williams continues to remain under medical supervision and is “suffering serious health complications” as a direct result of graves’ disease and her thyroid condition.

The show also announced that a number of guest hosts will replace Williams until she is ready to return to her “famous purple chair.”

The Wendy Williams Show season 13 will premier next week on Monday October 18.
