Yadier Molina Extends Contract With St. Louis Cardinals
Yadier Molina joined the St. Louis Cardinals in 2004 and has remained at the team for eighteen seasons, helping the team win two World Series titles and four National League pennants.
Molina will now continue his career with the MLB team and has now agreed a one year extension with the Cardinals. Sources tell The Athletic that the new deal will be “worth $10 million”
President of baseball operations at the team said the following in a statement, “Yadi has agreed to cement his career legacy with the Cardinals for a final season in 2022,” said John Mozeliak.
