‘Midnight Express’ Director Alan Parker Has Died At 76

Alan Parker has passed away at 76.

The Midnight Express director sadly died on Friday, July 31, after battling a lengthy “illness”, Deadline is reporting.

He earned nominations for Best Director at the Oscars for Midnight Express and Mississippi Burning, along with directing other memorable films including Bugsy Malone, David Gale and Evita.
